Illinois CPA Society Announces Recipients of Accounting Scholarshps

The Illinois CPA Society has awarded $60,000 in scholarships to 31 accounting students as part of the Society’s Accounting Scholarship Program funded by the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois. The scholarship recipients are from multiple institutions around the state and will receive assistance for the 2015-2016 academic year. Each student plans to pursue the CPA licensure and demonstrate a course of study that reflects this goal.

Supported solely by contributions to the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois, the Society’s scholarship programs are helping students pursue a career in accounting with aid for tuition, textbooks, the CPA Exam and more. In addition to financial assistance, outreach programs, such as the Student Ambassador Program, make it possible for students to enhance their business skills and develop connections as they progress and transition into the profession.
